Trekked from Dhampus through to the Annapurna Base Camp for 12 days. This was a fantastic experience, not only for the famous Nepal scenery-the mountains, valleys and waterfalls etc - but also, and perhaps especially, the company of the local people introduced through our guide Bhanu. Bhanu's attention to our every need, his good humor and many friends ensured an experience never to be forgotten. It was clear our first-time porter Ramesh also throughly enjoyed the trip-another testiment to Bhanu's ability as a guide and 'boss'. We have no hesitation in recommending Trekking Encounters as an excellent organisation.

Wonderful Trekking by a first time trekker!
Trekking from Jiri to Lukla was physically and mentally demanding, but it well trained me for the rest of trekking. It also gave me excellent insight into rural Nepal untouched by tourists. Chola Pass from EBC to Gokyo was, quite literally, breathtaking and I was able to see Himalaya mountains from God's point of view twice from Kala Pattar and Gokyo Re. My guide, Devraj was extremely kind and helpful for a first time trekker like myself. I strongly recommend a porter for those who are not confident about physical strength. I can't wait to trek again!

EXCELLENT TRIP
LANGTANG TO HELAMBU-WONDERFUL MOUNTAIN SCENERY, LOVELY PEOPLE FRIENDLY IN EVERY VILLAGE WE VISITED. THE WALKING WAS HARD BUT WORTH EVERY STEP, EVEN THE UPS AND DOWNS IN THE HIMALAYAS. WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT UP SOME OF THOSE UPS (MATTIS) IF IT WASN'T FOR RAM. WATCH OUT FOR THE DESKY LEECHES THEY LOVE THE ENGLISH. EXCELLENT TRIP. THANKS!

Fantastic trip
Pokhara-Annapurna (POONHILL)-Pokhara: Had a fantastic trip through some amazing scenery and thanks to my guide. Stayed in some top lodges with good food all round. Even though monsoon season the views in the morning were fantastic. Great experience and can’t thank enough my guide Bhanu or Kris and his team for all their good help. Very professional service and will definitely look again with them when I return, Good luck to them all in the future.

Lukla-Tengboche-Lukla
Left feeling totally unfit and uncertainabout undertaking trekking. My Guide Ram was excellent and the trekking was organised in a way that made it all accessible. After the thirs day I felt fit and was excited to be in Tengboche-where the views are supurb, amazing and wonderful. And the weather was fabulous. Ram was excellent, gently encouraging as well as good fun and good company. I am very happy with my trek and look forward to another trip.

Shivapuri-Nagarkot Trek
Great trek. Guide was also great. View from Chisopani was very beautiful. Nagarkot hotel was very nice, but weather was bad so no view. Looking forward to trekking with this company and Guide in the spring.

Mouantains were amazing...
Started from Jiri-was a good trip there and enjoyed walking through all the villages. Changed quite a bit from Lukla. Mountains were amazing and met some very nice people.
